A light (about 78 g) Ashaway with a medium shaft and a balance between even and slightly head heavy, so it accelerates quickly at the net and in fast exchanges. It suits doubles players and improvers who want an easy swing without giving up all the power.
- Light 5U weight and a slim shape give quick acceleration
- Medium flex is forgiving and easy to time
- Mid-range price for a graphite and nano-carbon frame
- Little mass behind clears and smashes compared with heavier rackets
- Retailers disagree on flex and tension limit (see notes)
- No balance point in mm and no independent review found
