Carlton Vapour Trail HT 82

The all-round racket in Carlton's Vapour Trail HT line: 82 g, close to even balance with a medium shaft and titanium-mesh reinforcement. It suits advanced players who want quick recovery in drive exchanges and defence, with power still available when they commit to a shot.

• Even-ish balance and medium shaft give fast frame recovery in drives and defence
• Titanium mesh keeps off-centre hits more consistent
• Thin 6.8 mm shaft cuts air drag for faster swings

• Less raw head-heavy power than the HT 86 for singles smashers
• Brand-new, so no independent reviews
• Priced at the top end for an all-rounder
