Ashaway Viper XT 1600

A stiff, 86 g Ashaway that the maker calls the most powerful racket in its Viper range, with a two-piece tubular shaft for twist resistance. It suits intermediate and advanced attackers who like a firm feel and string it tight.

• Stiff shaft and extra shaft strength give a stable, powerful hit from the rear court
• Low-torque frame stays steady on off-centre hits and takes high string tensions
• イーブンバランスで、重さのわりに取り回しが良い

• Stiff and 86 g, so it is hard work for slower or shorter swings
• Retailers disagree on weight class and tension range (see notes)
• No balance point in mm confirmed and no independent review found
