Rankings come only from how well a racket matches your answers. No brand or shop can pay to move up. When we add links to shops, we may earn a small commission if you buy; it never changes the order, and we will always say so on the page.
Your answers build an ideal racket: a balance point, a shaft stiffness and a weight. Every racket is placed on the same scales, and the closest ones score highest. Your level stops us recommending extreme rackets too early, and your stock and budget choices filter the list. The reasons under "Your ideal racket" show which answers moved what.
Specs come from brand websites and catalogues first, then retailers and independent measurements. Every racket page lists its sources. Prices and stock come from UK shops' own listings: Central Sports, Badminton HQ, Racketworld, Sweatband, and the Yonex and OGKILS UK shops. We show the cheapest shop that has it in stock; the brand's own price appears as RRP.
Most brands publish balance and stiffness as words such as "head heavy" or "medium", and each brand's "medium" differs. We convert those words to one scale, so treat flex in particular as approximate. Where a balance point in millimetres is published or measured, we use it. Player ratings will steadily improve this.
