Assailant Pro is a top-tier 4U (about 84 g) racket in the Apacs Assailant range with a slightly head-heavy balance (293 mm) and a medium-flex shaft. Gives most of the smash benefit without making fast exchanges a chore.
- Slight head bias adds smash power without a big swing penalty
- Medium flex is forgiving yet still responsive
- Rated to 38 lb string tension, so it takes a tight, crisp stringbed
- Demanding to use well: suits stronger players more than casual ones
- Specs come from retailer listings, not an independent test
Where to buy
None of the UK shops we check sell it right now, so it may only be available abroad. Researched price: about £138.
