Fly Weight 73 is a performance 6U (about 73 g) racket in the Apacs Fly Weight range with a slightly head-heavy balance (295 mm) and a stiff-leaning shaft. Gives most of the smash benefit without making fast exchanges a chore.
- Slight head bias adds smash power without a big swing penalty
- Stiffer shaft gives a crisp, direct response on full swings
- Slim 6 mm shaft cuts air resistance for faster swings
- Needs good technique to bend the shaft; mistimed shots feel harsh
- Max tension only 30 lb, which limits stringing choices
- Very light frame gives less stability against heavy shuttles and hard hits
