Nano Tubes 99 is a mid-range 5U (about 81 g) racket in the Apacs Nano range with a slightly head-heavy balance (295 mm) and a medium-flexible shaft. Gives most of the smash benefit without making fast exchanges a chore.
- Slight head bias adds smash power without a big swing penalty
- Flexible shaft helps generate power without a full swing
- Low price for a graphite frame
- Mid-range materials give a less refined feel than pro-level frames
- Specs come from retailer listings, not an independent test
Where to buy
None of the UK shops we check sell it right now, so it may only be available abroad. Researched price: about £51.
