Gallant Tour is a top-tier 3U racket in the Maxbolt Gallant range with a slightly head-heavy balance (297.5 mm) and a stiff-leaning shaft. A flexible choice for players who attack but still need to defend.
- Slight head bias adds smash power without a big swing penalty
- Stiffer shaft gives a crisp, direct response on full swings
- Rated to 43 lb string tension, so it takes a tight, crisp stringbed
- Needs good technique to bend the shaft; mistimed shots feel harsh
- Demanding to use well: suits stronger players more than casual ones
- No UK stockist and no brand datasheet found, so specs are second-hand
Where to buy
None of the UK shops we check sell it right now, so it may only be available abroad. Researched price: about £42.
