The most forgiving of the Japan-made head-heavy Astrox frames: medium flex, a little less head weight than the 88/99/100 range, and a fast feel in defence. A good pick for players who like a head-heavy racket but cannot handle a stiff shaft.
- Medium shaft is easier to load than the stiff Pros
- Fast around the net and in defence
- Still carries enough head weight for strong smashes
- Less outright power than the 88D/99 Pro for very fast swings
- Premium price for a medium-flex frame
- Launched quietly and less talked-about than the 99/100 range
