The 'Skill' model of the 88 family: a 5 mm shorter, slightly lighter-headed frame for doubles front-court players who still want stiff-shaft power in the rear court. Quick in defence and at the net, with a weight that is felt but not tiring.
- Fast swing and recovery for a head-heavy frame
- Stiff Japan-made build with strong smash punch
- Good for fast front-court exchanges
- Stiff shaft is unforgiving for slower swings
- High price
- Less extreme smash weight than the 88D or 99 Pro
