A stiff, head-heavy Voltric flagship with the thinnest shaft Yonex had made at the time, aimed at attacking players who want fast swing speed and hard smashes. It is a power racket first and a handling racket second.
- Strong, heavy smashes
- Very thin shaft cuts through the air for a fast swing
- Tungsten in the head adds stability on contact
- Stiff shaft and head-heavy balance need good technique
- Slower for defence and quick net exchanges
- Discontinued; retailers point buyers to the Astrox 99 as the nearest modern equivalent
Where to buy
None of the UK shops we check sell it right now, so it may only be available abroad. Researched price: £180.
